Yoga is truly for everyone. If you can breathe, you can do yoga. It's not about contorting your body into difficult poses; it's about connecting with your breath, body, and spirit. Our modern society often disconnects us from our bodies and compartmentalizes our health and wellness. Yoga is about wholeness.
As a hypnotherapist, working with clients with a multitude of traumas and anxiety, I wanted to share the ancient gift and wisdom of yoga with them. Teaching yoga over Zoom, I recorded all of my classes so that they could continue to be enjoyed. They are a brilliant way to begin or end your day, connecting with your own inner wisdom and starting your day with an intentional theme.
In 2009, I received my yoga teaching certification from Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu in Rishikesh, India, at the Anand Prakash Ashram. As an Akhanda yoga teacher, every class has a theme and incorporates mantra, meditation, and asanas. These are all 30-minute classes so that they are accessible for anyone, even when you don't have a lot of time.
